Verzy is a Grand Cru village on the north-eastern flank of the Montagne de Reims, in the Marne department, between Verzenay and Villers-Marmery, south-east of Reims.
- Location: on slopes facing east and north, on the edge of the forest of the Montagne de Reims.
- Vineyards: pinot noir predominates, with a sizeable share of chardonnay as well, on chalk soil.
- Wines: fresh, structured champagnes with taut acidity and great finesse.
- Special feature: in the forest above the village stand the Faux de Verzy, a rare collection of twisted beech trees. Nearby is the Mont Sinaï, the highest point of the Montagne de Reims.
- Producers: among others Alain Lallement, Cuperly, Millet-Esquerré, Famille Penet, Thill, Louis de Sacy, Etienne Lefèvre and Pierre Deville.
