Champagne Adrien Renoir is a young grower estate in the grand cru village of Verzy, on the Montagne de Reims. Adrien Renoir runs the family estate and bottles under his own name.
- History: The estate has been in the family for generations. Earlier bottlings carried the name of his father Vincent; later Adrien's name appeared on the label.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie mainly in Verzy. Adrien moved the vineyard work towards organic and biodynamic principles, without chemical treatments. Harvesting is by hand and a large share of the vines are old, from massal selection.
- Approach and style: In the cellar he vinifies in a Burgundian manner and uses only indigenous yeasts.
- Cuvées: Le Terroir and Le Cépage (100% Pinot Noir from Verzy) form the core. There are also single-plot wines such as Les Montants (100% Chardonnay from vines planted in 1961) and Les Epinettes (old-vine Pinot Noir).
