Oger is a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, in the Marne department, south of Épernay. It lies between Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the most famous chardonnay slope in Champagne.
- Location: on the eastern flank of the Côte des Blancs, with the vineyards on the slopes above the village.
- Vineyards: almost exclusively chardonnay, planted on chalk that lies close to the surface here.
- Wines: blanc de blancs with a taut, mineral core and great finesse; the wines are known for their ripeness and their capacity to age for a long time.
- Producers: Oger is home to Bonnet Gilmert, Chapuy, Demière Ansiot, Éléonore, Henry de Vaugency, Jean Milan and Vauversin, among others.
