Klepka-Sausse is a family estate in Oger, a grand cru village in the Côte des Blancs, founded in the 1920s and now four generations old. Fernand and Jeanne bought the first vineyards, planted with Chardonnay, and Fernand pressed and vinified his own grapes. Their daughter Yvonne and her husband Raymond helped establish the Les Grappes d'Or cooperative in November 1946. Laurent Klepka, a vigneron-coopérateur, joined the business in 1993 after training at the Champagne wine-growing college and a six-month internship in the United States; he later became president of the cooperative.
Vineyards Laurent and his wife Catherine farm 5.80 hectares of grand cru Chardonnay. Reasoned viticulture has been practised since the 1990s; in 2019 the estate obtained the Haute Valeur Environnementale and Viticulture Durable en Champagne certifications.
Champagnes The range comprises six grand cru cuvées, which age in the estate's cellar dating from 1795:
- Préam'Bulle, Quintessence and Mille Or
- Alliance Rubis, Comte de Chermont and Caveau 1795
