Venteuil is a wine village in the Marne department (51), on the right bank of the Marne, between Damery and Reuil, west of Épernay. It belongs to the Vallée de la Marne Rive Droite terroir and has no cru status.
- Vineyards: the vineyards lie on the south-facing slopes above the Marne, on clay and marl over limestone. Meunier is the main grape, complemented by pinot noir and chardonnay.
- Character: the champagnes are fruity, round and approachable, with the ripeness of the sunny slopes.
- Producers: Venteuil has many vignerons, including Autréau-Lasnot, B. Hennequin, Granzamy, Maurice Grumier, Mignon Boulard, Rédempteur and Louis Déhu.
