Moussy lies on the slopes south of Épernay, in the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, between Pierry and Chavot (Marne department). The commune has no cru status.
- Vineyards: the soils consist of clay and marl over the chalk. Pinot Meunier is the main grape, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
- Character: fruity, balanced champagnes that show the transition between the Marne valley and the Côte des Blancs.
- Producers: Dominique Crété, Grasset-Stern, R. Renaudin, Tellier and Barthélémy-Pinot are based here.
Because of its proximity to Épernay, many growers in Moussy also supply grapes to the houses in the town.
