History: Champagne Godmé Sabine is a family business that goes back to 1920, when the grandparents Joseph and Antoinette Godmé married and brought the brand to market for the first time. Sabine Godmé and her husband Jean-Marie Guillaume took over the estate in 1994 as the fourth generation, after experience in winegrowing and tree nursery work in the US. The business was previously called Godmé Joseph, Godmé Bertrand and Godmé Père et Fils, but is now run by Sabine, Jean-Marie and their children Marie and Matthieu.

Vineyards and Terroir: The estate is located in Verzenay, a village that is entirely classified Grand Cru in the Montagne de Reims. The vineyards cover 5.5 hectares and are spread over five villages: three Grand Cru villages (Verzenay, Verzy, Beaumont-sur-Vesle) and two Premier Cru villages (Villers-Marmery, Montbré). The wines are made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Working methods: From 2006 the winemakers adopted more natural management with zero insecticides, soil cultivation and sexual confusion, combined with modern cellar techniques. The estate is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Potential) and Terra Vitis. The philosophy focuses on respecting the terroir, limiting yields and letting the grape varieties express themselves in both barrels and vats.

Champagnes: The house produces 8 cuvées, including:
