Champagne M. Lefébure is a small wine estate in the Coteaux du Petit Morin, run by Marie-Laurène and Sébastien Lefébure.
- History: Marie-Laurène Lefébure studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and ultimately chose a life in the vineyard.
- Vineyards and terroir: The couple farm 5.5 hectares in the Coteaux du Petit Morin, with a small part of their vineyards in the Côte des Bar. The soils are clay and limestone mixed with flint.
- Methods and style: Viticulture is sustainable and the estate is converting to organic farming. Vinification and ageing take place in oak barrels, without bâtonnage, fining or filtration, and the wines are disgorged à la volée.
- Cuvées: Néolithique, a Blanc de Blancs, is one of the flagship wines. The range also includes Prune Monsieur and Stella Maris.
