Champagne‌ M. Férat & Fils is a family estate in Vertus (Blancs-Coteaux), on the Côte des Blancs. The Férat family has been active there since the end of the 18th century; Pierre-Yves Férat and his partner Clémentine represent the sixth generation.

History

Paul Férat founded the vineyard. His grandson Marcel Férat, the third generation, created the M. Férat & Fils brand in the 1950s, and it was handed down through Guy and Pascal Férat to the current generation. The brand has now existed for more than 70 years.

Vineyards

The estate is committed to an environmentally conscious approach: since 2020 the vineyard has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE 3).

Champagnes

The website features a Blanc de Blancs, described as a charming and delicate pure chardonnay. Visits are by appointment only.
