Champagne​‌​ J.M. Gandon is a small estate in Branscourt, in the Vesle valley west of Reims. It is run by Victor Gandon, part of a new generation of artisan champagne growers.

• History: The family name has appeared on the label only from the 2020 vintage onwards. The Les Pièces cuvée was the estate's first release and drew attention straight away.
• Approach and style: According to the importer, grapes are pressed gently and fermentations are spontaneous, without chaptalisation. The wines age for a long time on their lees in barrels of various sizes and are neither fined nor filtered. Dosage is very low or zero.
• Cuvées: Les Pièces is a plot-driven, Pinot Noir-based cuvée released by vintage, including as V20 and V22. Production is small-scale.
