Champagne JM Sélèque is a family estate in Pierry, a premier cru village just outside Épernay, run by Jean-Marc Sélèque.
- History: Jean-Marc's grandfather planted vines in Pierry in 1965. Jean-Marc took over the estate in 2008; a new cellar was completed in 2015. Since 2018 the house has also held négociant status and buys grapes from mainly organic growers for the Solessence cuvée.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate farms around 9 hectares spread over 45 plots in seven villages. Wine writer Peter Liem has called it a rising star of the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay.
- Approach and style: The wines are bottled with a low dosage and partly vinified in oak.
- Cuvées: Solessence is the flagship cuvée: a blend of Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay as the largest share, around half of which comes from a 'réserve perpétuelle'. Other wines include the single-plot champagnes of the Soliste series (such as Les Gouttes d'Or and Tartières / Porgeon) and Partition 7P.
