Ville-sur-Arce is a wine village in the Aube department (10), in the Côte des Bar, in the Barséquanais, in the valley of the Arce east of Bar-sur-Seine. The village has no cru status.
- Vineyards: the vineyards lie on the slopes of the Arce valley, on the calcareous marl of the Côte des Bar. Pinot noir is the dominant grape, complemented by chardonnay.
- Character: the champagnes are ripe, fruity and full, with the power and red fruit of pinot noir.
- Producers: Ville-sur-Arce is home to Chassenay d'Arce, a cooperative of growers from the Arce valley. Those working here also include Rémy Massin & Fils and Thierry Massin.
