Spoy is a small village in the Côte des Bar, in the Aube department, in the Bar-sur-Aubois west of Bar-sur-Aube. The village has no cru classification.

The Côte des Bar is the southernmost part of Champagne. Around Bar-sur-Aube the vineyards lie on limestone-marl slopes and pinot noir is by far the most important grape. As a result, the champagnes are ripe, round and fruity.

Spoy lies in rural surroundings, on the cycle route that leads via Meurville and Bligny to Essoyes. A walking route from the village leads past the lavoir of Fravaux, the Côte de l'Étang nature reserve and an old bridge. In Spoy, Binon Coquard, among others, makes champagne.
