Taissy is a Premier Cru commune directly south-east of Reims, in the Marne department, on the edge of the Montagne de Reims and near Cormontreuil and Montbré.

• Location: on the transition between the city of Reims and the northern flank of the Montagne de Reims, on the Vesle.
• Vineyards: a modest vineyard area with pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay on calcareous soil.
• Wines: fresh champagnes with red fruit, in the style of the northern flank of the Montagne.
• Producer: Gondé-Rousseaux is based in Taissy; otherwise the grapes go largely to houses and cooperatives in the region.
