Champagne Coquard Bour is a wine-growing estate in Spoy, in the Côte des Bar. The house was born from the union of two families who have worked the land with respect for nature for four generations.
Vineyards The vines – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay – grow on clay-limestone soils. The estate practises reasoned viticulture, certified Terra Vitis and HVE: grass between the rows, reasoned use of plant-protection treatments and soil work.
Approach At harvest the grapes are sorted for quality and optimal ripeness is sought. A latest-generation press ensures gentle pressing, and temperature control allows constant monitoring of vinification and ageing. An oenological laboratory analyses and tastes the wines.
