Pévy lies in the Massif de Saint-Thierry, north-west of Reims, in the Marne department, on the edge of the Vesle valley. The village has no cru status. The Massif de Saint-Thierry is less well known than the Montagne de Reims and consists mainly of small family businesses.
- Location: in the northernmost offshoot of the Champagne vineyards, in a rural hilly area with small wine villages.
- Vineyards: meunier and pinot noir predominate, complemented by chardonnay. The soils are varied, with sand and clay as well as limestone.
- Wines: fruity, approachable champagnes in which meunier often forms the base.
- Producers: Hautbois-Pévy and Jean-Pol Hautbois are based in the village.
