Méry-Prémecy is a small, typically Champenois village in the Marne department, about fifteen kilometres south-west of Reims, in the area of the Vesle and the Ardre. The village has no cru classification.

In this area between the Montagne de Reims and the Tardenois, the vineyards lie on rolling slopes with clay, sand and limestone. Meunier is the main grape here; as a result, the champagnes are generally fruity, supple and approachable. The surrounding villages, such as Bouleuse and Aubilly, also have a great deal of viticulture.

The most important wine house in the village is Guyot-Guillaume, a family business founded in the 1950s and now run by the third generation. The house works mainly with meunier and is certified for sustainable viticulture (HVE and Viticulture Durable en Champagne).
