Fontaine-Denis-Nuisy is a small wine village in the Marne department (51), in the Sézannais, the Côte de Sézanne south of Sézanne. The village has no cru status.
- Vineyards: the slopes of the Côte de Sézanne lie on calcareous soils, where chardonnay is the dominant grape. Pinot noir is also planted.
- Character: chardonnay from the Sézannais gives ripe, fruity and somewhat rounder champagnes than that of the northern Côte des Blancs.
- Producers: the best-known house is Domaine Collet (Famille Collet), founded by René Collet and now in the hands of the next generation, with a certified organic estate in the heart of the Côte de Sézanne. Guyot, among others, also works here.
The Route du Champagne, which links the wine villages of the Côte de Sézanne, runs through the village.
