Brouillet lies in the valley of the Ardre, west of Reims, in the Marne department. The vineyards lie on the slopes on either side of the river and its small tributaries. The village has no cru status.
- Location: in the Ardre valley, part of the Reims: Vesle & Ardre zone, on the western side of the Montagne de Reims.
- Vineyards: meunier plays the leading role, as in much of the Ardre valley. Some growers also work with old, rare champagne grapes such as petit meslier, arbane, pinot blanc and pinot gris.
- Producers: the family behind Aspasie has been growing grapes for generations and works with certified organic vineyards. Jean-Antoine Ariston has his family estate in a house dating from the time of the French Revolution.
- Visits: several producers welcome visitors for tastings; walking routes run through the villages of the valley.
