Bligny is a wine village in the Côte des Bar in the Aube department, in the Bar-sur-Aubois, not far from Bar-sur-Aube. The commune has no cru status.
The village is best known for the Château de Bligny, built on the remains of a medieval castle; of the older building, an entrance gate carved with grape clusters and vine tendrils remains. The estate is owned by the Rapeneau family (also owners of G.H. Martel) and presents itself as the only château in Champagne that makes champagne as a grower-producer.
- Vineyards: lime-rich, fairly steep slopes. Besides Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, the old varieties Arbane, Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier are also grown.
- Producers: Château de Bligny, Édouard Duval and Moutaux.
