Champagne​‌​ Thierry Bourmault is a small family business based in Cuis (Côte des Blancs), established as a brand in 2004 by Thierry Bourmault, but with roots going back to 1865 when Ernest Bourmault settled in the village. The family counts six generations and works as a récoltant-manipulant, growing and processing its own grapes.

• Vineyards: The estate has approximately 4.5 to 4.8 hectares of vineyards. The vines are on average 30 to 60 years old. The terroir is geared to the two noble cépages: Chardonnay (80% of production, from Premier Cru areas such as Cuis) and Pinot Noir (Grand Cru from the Montagne de Reims). Pinot Meunier is grown but not processed in order to concentrate the style.
• Working methods: The winery takes a traditional approach with an emphasis on quality over quantity (annual production of 13,000 to 18,000 bottles). Since the 1990s and a renewal in 1998, a traditional wooden press, foudres and oak barrels of 400 litres have been used. This gives an elegant, structured profile with freshness and softness. The work is organic and only the vin de cuvée (first pressing) is used.
• Champagnes: The range includes the Silver-Class Brut Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay, Premier Cru, at least 8 months on the lees) and the Zéro-Dosage Extra Brut. A special cuvée is Les Côtes aux Vents 2019, a vintage Blanc de Blancs from 75-year-old Chardonnay vines planted in 1951, aged in oak barrels. The champagnes are known for their honest, elegant and mineral character.
