Champagne Poinsot Frères is a family business in Loches-sur-Ource, in the Côte des Bar (Aube).
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate owns around 17 hectares of vineyards around the village of Loches-sur-Ource.
- Approach and style: The house follows the principles of lutte raisonnée and pays attention to biodiversity, with beehives placed on some plots. In the village of Gevrolles, at the gateway to Burgundy, a gîte is available for wine tourists.
- New generation: Laura Poinsot joined the business in 2015 and also makes her own champagnes under the L'Envolée name; the first cuvée, the blanc de noirs Mésopique, was released at the end of 2023. She is also developing a range of delicatessen products, including a ratafia.
- Cuvées: The range includes Tradition (mainly pinot meunier and pinot noir), Intense Chardonnay (blanc de blancs), Alliance Rosé, Grand Héritage (also as a vintage) and the vintage Trés'or. The house also makes a Ratafia Prestige.
