Champagne Paul Hazard is a champagne producer in Châtillon-sur-Marne, in the Vallée de la Marne. The house is first and foremost a family farm which, according to tradition, sheltered Jean de La Fontaine in the 17th century, where he wrote his fable 'Le Coche et la Mouche'.
Approach
The grapes are picked by hand, kept separate by variety and pressed quickly in the estate's own 4,000 kg press; only the finest juice, the 'cuvée', is used.

- L'Univers Brut Tradition: 42% meunier, 30% pinot noir and 28% chardonnay, with 24% reserve wine; also in magnum.
- Furtiv' Brut Rosé: meunier and pinot noir with 21% chardonnay, 26% reserve wine and 17% red wine.
- Under Control Blanc de Blancs 2018: 100% chardonnay.
- Also a Millésime 2018, On Track and Vieille Vigne.
Visits and tastings are available by appointment; the estate also lets a gîte in the former family farm.
