Champagne Pascal Mazet is a small organic family estate in Chigny-les-Roses, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims.
- History: Catherine and Pascal Mazet founded the estate in 1981. Their son Olivier joined in the late 2010s and now runs the estate; he also introduced agroforestry.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie in the Premiers Crus of Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes and in the Grand Cru of Ambonnay.
- Approach and style: Conversion to organic farming began in 2009, with certification in 2012. The soil under the rows is worked and the grass between the rows is mown. The wines ferment with native yeasts and are partly aged in old oak barrels; some cuvées contain wine from a 5,000-litre "solera" foudre topped up since 1981.
- Cuvées: The range includes Unique, Exception Premier Cru (a Blanc de Noirs), Originel, Nature Premier Cru, Evanescente Blanc de Blancs and a Millésime Premier Cru.
