Champagne Marie Demets is a family estate in Gyé-sur-Seine, in the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne.
- History: According to Pierre Demets, who now runs the estate with his wife Mathilde, his grandfather planted the first vines in 1950. His father released the house's first champagnes in 1986.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate has just over 10 hectares of vines spread across Gyé-sur-Seine, Neuville-sur-Seine, Courteron, Polisy and Buxeuil in the Seine valley. Its fifteen plots lie on limestone and clay soils of Kimmeridgian and Portlandian origin, each with its own exposure.
- Approach and style: The estate is HVE3-certified and also holds the Viticulture Durable en Champagne certification.
- Cuvées: The flagship is Tradition, a blanc de noirs. Singularité comes from the estate's only plot of Pinot Blanc (0.4 hectares, planted in 1992). Other wines include the Cœur de Saignée Rosé from Pinot Noir, Blanc de Blancs Harmonie and Intransigeance.
