Champagne Marie Courtin is the estate of Dominique Moreau in Polisot, in the Côte des Bar (Aube). It is named after her grandmother.
- History: Dominique Moreau has been making champagne under the Marie Courtin name since 2006 and has farmed organically ever since; the estate became fully certified organic in 2010.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyard of around 2.5 hectares lies in a single parcel in Polisot. The vines were planted in the 1970s.
- Approach and style: The vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically. Moreau makes no blends: each cuvée comes from a single grape variety and a single vintage, with little or no dosage. Concordance is one of a handful of champagnes made without added sulphur.
- Cuvées: Efflorescence is an extra brut blanc de noirs from 35 to 40-year-old pinot noir vines on heavy clay at the foot of the slope, and is regarded as the estate's most structured wine. Other cuvées include Résonance (pinot noir), Éloquence (chardonnay) and Concordance.
