Champagne M. Brugnon is a récoltant-manipulant in Écueil, on the champagne route in the Montagne de Reims.
- History: The brand was founded in 1947 by Maurice Brugnon. Today the estate is run by his grandson Alain.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate covers around 8.5 hectares spread across three villages, each with its own soil: Rilly-la-Montagne, dominated by chalk, Écueil with sandy soil, and Mont-Saint-Père in the Vallée de la Marne with clay. The chalky plots of Les Barbettes lie in Rilly-la-Montagne.
- Approach and style: As a récoltant-manipulant, the house makes champagne exclusively from its own grapes. The vintage wines spend a long time on their lees; the Millésime 2016, a blend of chardonnay from Rilly-la-Montagne and pinot noir from Écueil, was aged on the lees for more than six years.
- Cuvées: The range includes a Brut, a Brut Sélection, a Brut Rosé, a Demi-Sec and a Doux, complemented by a Blanc de Blancs and vintage wines.
