Champagne Doré Léguillette is a family business in Charly-sur-Marne (Aisne), located in the heart of the Marne Valley. The history begins in the 1960s with Robert Léguillette, who, as a farmer, decided to plant vines on the slopes of Charly-sur-Marne. The business is currently run by his granddaughter Carole Léguillette, who represents the third generation.
The vineyards cover roughly 8 to 9 hectares and lie on loam-limestone slopes with south-south-east exposure. The grape varieties are mainly Pinot Meunier (about 68-88%) and Chardonnay (12-32%), with a little Pinot Noir. Since 2019 the estate has been certified Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and holds Haute Valeur Environnementale status.
For vinification the estate uses the local cooperative COVAMA for harvesting and processing. The champagnes are carefully blended and aged to preserve their character, with some cuvées (such as the Signature) staying in the cellar for up to six years. The range includes both brut and rosé variants, such as the Initial, Signature, Réserve d'Antan, Millésime and Vieilles Vignes.
