Domaine Nowack is a family estate in Vandières, in the Vallée de la Marne.
- History: The family history goes back to the late 18th century, when a Nowack from Bohemia settled in Vandières. After the First World War the family began selling its own champagne. Today Frédéric Nowack runs the estate together with his son Flavien, who is gradually taking over.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards are planted mainly with Pinot Meunier, complemented by Chardonnay and some Pinot Noir. Since 2011 the estate has been converting step by step to organic farming.
- Winemaking and style: Flavien Nowack favours low dosage, minimal sulphites and, for some cuvées, long ageing on the lees.
- Cuvées: The S.A. (Sans Année) is a blend of Meunier and Chardonnay. There are also single-plot wines such as Fontinette (Meunier) and Tuilerie (Chardonnay), and cuvées such as Terres Bleues, Arpent Rouge and Cru d'Origine Mancy.
