Champagne Domaine Méa is a family estate in the Montagne de Reims, run by Sophie Moussié, the fifth generation of winegrowers, together with her husband Franck.
- History: Guy Méa expanded the family vineyard in the 1950s and handed the business to his daughter Evelyne in the 1980s. His granddaughter Sophie has worked in the family business since 2010 and now runs it. In 2023 the family decided to rename the brand "Domaine Méa" and switch to organic farming.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie around the Grand Cru villages of Louvois and Bouzy and, further north, in the Premiers Crus of Ludes and Montbré. They are planted mainly with Pinot Noir (70%), complemented by Chardonnay (26%) and a little Meunier (4%). Vineyards in the Premiers Crus of Mareuil-sur-Ay and Hautvillers have also recently been acquired.
- Approach and style: The vineyards are farmed without pesticides and the estate is HVE certified. Alongside traditional cuvées, the house makes a dry, terroir-focused line.
- Cuvées: These include La Rencontre, L'Assemblage, La Saignée de Bouzy, La Cuvée des Loups and Les Fa'Bulleuses.
