Champagne Diot-Legras is a family estate in Cramant, a grand cru village in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay reigns supreme. Stéphanie and Benoît Diot continue the work of many generations of champagne makers there.
Approach The house has two ranges, with a single aim: champagne that expresses and respects its terroir.
Champagnes
- Cuvée Subtil: 100% grand cru Chardonnay, vinified in a solera system in feuillettes (small 114-litre casks), with 25% old vines without malolactic fermentation, dosage 8 g/l
- Vieilles Vignes: 2005 vintage from vines averaging 40 years on south-facing mid-slopes in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, without malolactic fermentation, dosage 6 g/l
- Blanc de Blancs
- Brut Sélection: 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir
- Rosé: 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir and 12% Pinot Noir red wine
