Champagne Didier-Ducos is a family house and récoltant-manipulant in Saint-Martin-d'Ablois, on the slopes south of Épernay, founded in the 1950s.
History The house was born from the union of Adrien Didier, a former Resistance fighter and survivor of the Mauthausen camp, and Yvonne Ducos. After the war Adrien began making and selling champagne from the vineyard his ancestors already farmed; his first bottles were intended for his former fellow prisoners and their families. In the 1970s their son Christophe followed with his wife Dominique, and since 2001 their son Nicolas and his wife Clotilde have run the estate as the third generation.
Vineyards The vineyard covers 8 hectares between Vinay and Saint-Martin-d'Ablois and is planted with the three Champagne grapes, with Meunier as the main variety and the common thread of the house style. The estate is certified Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC) and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE).
