Champagne Denis Lallement is a family business and récoltant-manipulant in Ludes, at the foot of the Montagne de Reims nature park. Caroline Bertin has run the house for more than ten years, with the know-how passed on by her father.
Vineyards The vineyards lie in Ludes, Verzy, Verzenay and Trois-Puits in the Montagne de Reims. All work in the vineyard is done by hand, with respect for tradition and the environment.
Approach The whole production stays in the family's hands: from pressing and first fermentation to blending with reserve wines, disgorgement and shipping. The Réserve is partly aged in oak casks; the Blanc de Blancs and Grand Cru age slowly in the cellars in Ludes.
Champagnes
- Brut and Demi-Sec: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, aged 3 years
- Rosé: a blend of the Brut with red Champagne wine
- Grand Cru « Cuvée Eloïse »: Pinot Noir, mainly from Verzenay
- Blanc de Blancs « Cuvée Clémence »
- Cuvée Réserve: aged 5 years
- J2018 Millésimé
The house also makes ratafia and marc.
