Champagne Brice Allouchery is a small grower in Écueil, a premier cru village in the Montagne de Reims.
- History: Brice Allouchery grew up among the vines in a family of cooperative growers. His great-grandfather already made his own wines, particularly Coteaux Champenois. In 2018 Brice began making his first wines of his own.
- Vineyards and terroir: Most of the wines come from old vines planted by his grandfather more than sixty years ago. The grapes come from Écueil and Sacy, two premier cru villages, with soils that include sandy and sandy-limestone terroirs.
- Approach and style: Brice Allouchery works with a combination of barrels and stainless steel tanks, native yeasts and ageing on the lees, without filtration. The champagnes receive a low extra brut dosage.
- Cuvées: The 1er Cru Pinots Noirs is a blanc de noirs from Pinot Noir from Écueil and Sacy. Les Sablons combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from sandy soils. Les Blanches Vignes is a 100% Pinot Noir blanc de noirs from the lieu-dit of the same name in Écueil. There are also single-plot cuvées such as Les Hauts Bourgeois and Les Lavats.
