Champagne André Chemin is a family business in Sacy (Premier Cru) in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, founded in 1948 by André Chemin. The estate is currently run by the third generation, Sébastian and Eva Chemin, who continue the heritage of their grandparents.
History and Operation
The house became known through the annual car race 12 Heures Internationales de Reims, at which the Parisian elite tasted champagne near the circuit. Under Sébastian and Eva the estate switched to sustainable viticulture in 2015 and is certified as Haut Valeur Environnementale (HVE). The business produces approximately 55,000 bottles per year.
