Sacy lies in the Petite Montagne de Reims, south-west of Reims, on the slopes above the Ardre valley (Marne department). The village has Premier Cru status.
- Vineyards: besides chalk, the soils also contain sand and clay. Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir are the main grapes, complemented by Chardonnay.
- Character: fruity, supple champagnes with a fresh undertone.
- Producers: André Chemin, Damien-Buffet, Hervieux Dumez and Marchal Degesne are based here. Growers from surrounding villages, such as the Bailly family from Serzy-et-Prin, also own plots in Sacy.
Together with neighbouring villages such as Ville-Dommange and Écueil, Sacy belongs to the group of Premier Cru communes of the Petite Montagne.
