Champagne Alain David is a family estate in Boursault, a small wine village in the Vallée de la Marne.
- History: The family has grown grapes for four generations and has made its own champagnes since 2013. The estate is run by Benoit David.
- Vineyards and terroir: The family farms 4.35 hectares, a little over half of which is planted with Pinot Meunier. The estate holds HVE level 3 environmental certification.
- Approach and style: The champagnes are marked by a lively mousse and a mouth-watering, saline finish that runs through all the cuvées.
- Cuvées: The range includes Harmonie Cépagienne (55% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay), which also serves as the base for the rosé, as well as Bulles Dorées, Cuvée René and Duo d'Effervescence.
