Neuville-sur-Seine lies in the Seine valley in the south of the Aube department, upstream of Bar-sur-Seine. It belongs to the Côte des Bar and the Barséquanais and has no cru status. The village lies in a rural part of the Aube, where viticulture is largely in the hands of family businesses.
- Location: near Gyé-sur-Seine and Courteron, on the slopes along the Seine.
- Vineyards: pinot noir is the main grape, complemented by chardonnay. The subsoil consists of lime-rich Kimmeridgian marl, the characteristic soil of the Côte des Bar.
- Wines: fruity, round champagnes with the red fruit of pinot noir.
