Champagne Yveline Prat is an independent wine house in Vert-Toulon (Marne), founded in 1975 by Alain and Yveline Prat, who met at rock 'n' roll dance evenings. The second generation, Alexandre and Aurélia, now helps with production and marketing. The house is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) for environmentally conscious practices, such as the use of sexual confusion and the shredding of pruning waste.
The vineyards cover approximately 13-16 hectares spread over three regions: the Côte des Bars (mainly Pinot Noir), the Côte de Sézannais (Chardonnay) and the Vallée de la Marne (Pinot Meunier). The grapes are harvested and processed in modern cellars with inox tanks and a membrane press, with oak barrels sometimes also being used for the ageing of specific cuvées.
The champagnes are produced as récoltant-manipulant (own grapes, own vinification) and comprise two main lines: the traditional and exclusive collection. Well-known cuvées are the Brut Tradition, the Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay), Rosé (gold medal 2017), Millesimé and Fût de Chêne (raised in oak). The house produces approximately 60,000 to 100,000 bottles annually, with direct sales via the website and export to Germany and Japan, among others.
