Vély-Prodhomme is a family house in Écueil, on the Petite Montagne de Reims, a few kilometres from Reims and Épernay. The family's passion for wine-growing goes back to 1913 and now spans five generations. The great-grandparents started the first bottlings in the village; after 1946 the grandparents developed the Vély Kirch champagne. Since 1973 the family has worked under the Vély-Prodhomme name, today with Séverine and Jean-Marie and their children.
Vineyards The 4 hectares of Premier Cru are spread around the village: 1 ha of Chardonnay, 2.20 ha of Pinot Noir and 80 ares of Meunier.
