Serge Mathieu is a Champagne house in Avirey-Lingey, in the Côte des Bar in the Aube department. The Mathieu family is recorded as growers there since 1685. Serge Mathieu stayed on the family estate and began making his own wine in 1970; later his daughter Isabelle (sales and export) and her husband Michel joined.
