Roulot-Fournier is a family house and récoltant-manipulant in Festigny, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne. Richard and Nathalie Roulot, both children of growers, oversee every step from vine to cellar and vinify only grapes from their own harvest.
Vineyards The house farms 8 hectares on the slopes of Festigny, dominated by Meunier, the emblematic grape of the Vallée de la Marne; Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grow on a few selected plots. The plots are grassed and worked by hand throughout the year, and plant protection treatments are kept to the strict minimum. Harvesting is done entirely by hand.
Method Pressing is followed by alcoholic fermentation (5 to 10 days) and malolactic fermentation. Dosage uses a house liqueur made from reserve wines.
