Champagne Patrick Breul is a family estate in Saint-Martin-d'Ablois, on the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay in the Vallée de la Marne, the fruit of several generations of récoltants. Patrick and Séverine Breul, who come from the village, bought the Château d'Ablois in 2009, and it has since been their home and the seat of the estate.
Vineyards
The vineyard lies close to the château and is planted with pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand.
Champagnes
- Brut: 75% meunier and 25% pinot noir.
- Réserve: one third each of meunier, chardonnay and pinot noir, aged for three years.
- Rosé: based on the Réserve, with red champagne wine.
- Prestige: 100% chardonnay, aged for five years.
- Cuvée du Château: a single harvest of the three grape varieties, aged for four years.
- Comtesse: a blend of 2011 (25%) and 2018 (75%).
The château also offers a gîte for twelve people and reception rooms for hire.
