Champagne Marinette Raclot is a family-run business in Baroville (Aube, Côte des Bars), run by Sébastien Harand, who took over the business in 2017. Harand is a propriétaire-récoltant-manipulant, which means that he carries out the entire production process from vineyard to bottle himself.
- Vineyards: The estate has 7.5 hectares of vineyard, located in six valleys with the best soils of Baroville. The grape varieties are mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, supplemented with a small amount of Pinot Blanc.
- Winemaking: Harand practises raisonné (sustainable) farming, with the aim of moving to sustainable viticulture and retaining the HVE certification. The emphasis is on respect for the soil and listening to nature, rather than systemic treatments.
- Champagnes: The range includes various cuvées with a high value for money. The main champagnes are:
- Brut Tradition: A classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
- Cuvée Mathilde: A personal cuvée in honour of Harand's daughter, with a balance between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
- Prestige: A 100% Chardonnay cuvée.
- Brut Rosé: A rosé champagne.
- Brut Pur Pinot Blanc: An experimental cuvée made from Pinot Blanc.
The estate is known for the authenticity and character of its champagnes, and regularly offers tastings in Baroville.
