Champagne Le Gallais is a family-run business based in the historic Clos du Château de Boursault in Boursault, near Épernay, in the UNESCO World Heritage Marne Valley area. The history of the estate goes back to 1927, when Hachod Fringhian, the ancestor of the current owner Charlotte Le Gallais, took over the estate that had previously belonged to Madame Veuve Clicquot.
The vineyards cover 4 hectares and are divided over 7 plots. The grape varieties are planted as 45% Pinot Meunier, 45% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. The estate practises culture raisonnée (balanced cultivation) with the aim of a high environmental standard (HVE certification). Since 1991 no insecticides have been used, biodiversity is protected and the soils are worked mechanically without herbicides.
The winemaking is characterised by short transport distances, with the press, cooperage and cellars located in the vineyard to ensure the freshness of the fruit. The champagnes are aged long on the lees with a minimum resting time in the cellar of 9 to 10 years, which is far longer than the legally required three years. This process, combined with a low sugar content (dosage), results in elegant wines. The estate has a modern glass building with panoramic views for tastings and visits.

- La Grande Vigne: A blanc de blancs of 100% Chardonnay, 3 years on the lees.
