Lahaye‌ Berthelot is a family business and récoltant-manipulant in Vaudancourt (Brugny-Vaudancourt), in the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay. The family has worked the vineyards for more than five generations. The brand was founded in 1971 by Jean Lahaye and Yolande Berthelot; before that, the champagne was sold under the name Berthelot Cuiret. In 1995 their son and his wife took over the business.

Vineyards The 3-hectare vineyard lies in Mancy, Monthelon, Courcourt and Vaudancourt, planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. The champagnes come exclusively from the estate's own grapes; the business sells around 25,000 bottles a year and is certified HVE and VDC.

Method Disgorgement is still done by hand, « à la volée », an age-old technique that visitors can come and watch.
