Maison‌ Jean-Marie Bandock is a Grand Cru champagne house based in Bouzy, specialising in Pinot Noir. The house was founded in 1950 and is now run by four generations, with the family business working according to principles of sustainable development and raisonnée (balanced) farming.

Vineyards and Terroir

The vineyards lie on the slopes of Bouzy, known for its clay-limestone soils and optimal sunshine. The grape varieties are predominantly Pinot Noir (often 90%), sometimes supplemented with Chardonnay. The house also produces Bouzy Rouge, a non-carbonated red wine from Pinot Noir, made only in the best vintages.

Vineyards and Wine Press

The approach includes hand harvesting and whole-grape pressing. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 16 degrees, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. The champagnes age in the bottle (sur lattes) for at least 3 to 5 years, depending on the cuvée, and are often stored in porcelain tiles or traditional cellars.

Champagne Collection

The house offers a range of Grand Cru cuvées, each with specific characteristics:
