Jacky Moussy is a family estate in Congy, a wine village south of Épernay. The Moussy family has been growing vines here for at least 300 years: Jean Rémy Moussy, born in 1714, was already a winegrower in Congy. Father Henri and his wife Madeleine began making their own champagne in 1952; their predecessors had sold their grapes to Champagne houses. Jacky bought his first vineyard in 1975, made his first champagne in 1978 and took over half of the family estate in 1995.
Vineyards The 2.5-hectare estate lies in Congy, Villevenard and Bergères-sous-Montmirail, on chalk, sand and clay respectively: Pinot Meunier (1.35 ha), Pinot Noir (70 ares) and Chardonnay (45 ares). No chemical fertilisers have been used for 40 years and no herbicides since 2013; since 2020 the estate has been in conversion to organic farming.
Method The grapes are hand-picked and ferment spontaneously in tank or in wood. The bottles age for 3 to 8 years in cellars 6 metres underground, dug into the chalk by father and son between 1950 and 2000. Riddling on pupitres and disgorgement are done by hand.

- Brut Tradition, Demi-Sec, Brut Rosé and Vieille Réserve
