Emmanuel Dravigny is a small 2-hectare wine estate in Vrigny, a premier cru village in the Petite Montagne de Reims. The Dravigny family has had winegrowers since 1442; Emmanuel took over the family business in 2007 and released his first own cuvées in 2016.
History
- 1992: Emmanuel obtains a BTS in viticulture and oenology.
- 1995–2008: he works at the Vrigny cooperative, first as assistant to the chef de cave and from 2008 as chef de cave.
- 2021: double certification VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) and HVE level 3.
Vineyards On the sandy clay soils of Vrigny, Meunier dominates, accounting for 80% of plantings in the commune. The cuvées consist of 80 to 100% Meunier, from vines more than 40 years old.
