Champagne Émilien Feneuil is a small grower in Sermiers in the Montagne de Reims, working organically and biodynamically.
- History: Émilien Feneuil took over his parents' farm in 2006, at a time when it was still farmed conventionally. He learned many of his vineyard practices from his friend Aurélien Laherte. In 2015 he began making champagne, at first in the cellars of fellow winemakers; for the 2020 harvest he bought his first press of his own.
- Vineyards and terroir: He farms around 2.5 hectares around Sermiers, planted mainly with Meunier, supplemented by Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Petit Meslier, a variety rarely found in Champagne. The estate is certified organic; he makes his own preparations and encourages biodiversity.
- Approach and style: The must ferments spontaneously and the wines rest for about a year before being bottled for the second fermentation. Sulphite use is minimal and dosages are low. Besides champagne he also makes Coteaux Champenois.
- Cuvées: These include Les Ruisseaux (blanc de noirs), Totum (a field blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier and Petit Meslier), the rosé de macération Les Goulats, Le Caqueray, Les Puits / La Pucelle and Cuvée MIX Blanc de Blancs.
